It is interesting how we spend so much time "trying to be good" or feeling bad about doing bad and questioning whether we have done enough to punch our ticket to Heaven. God promises eternal life with Him. Eternity is more than one hour on a Sunday morning or 20 min in the morning or 25 seconds to pray before a meal. If eternity with God is what we truly want, then why is it that we don't want to spend much time with God now? Do we think something magically will happen when we die?
Lord, help me to want to spend as much time as possible with You now so that we won't be strangers when we spend eternity together later.
