Better to Give Than Receive

For no one is cast off by the Lord forever. Though he brings grief, he will show compassion, so great is his unfailing love.  Lamentations 3:31-32
 
Compassion, Grace and Forgiveness.  Three attributes of God that work in our favor.  Compassion, Grace and Forgiveness.  Three attributes that we all appreciate when we receive them from others but they all may be difficult to exhibit ourselves.  Compassion, Grace and Forgiveness.  Three attributes that on the surface seem to be more beneficial to receive than to give but the truth is that showing compassion, grace and forgiveness may be more of a benefit to the one on the giving end.
 
Lord, help me to see the value in showing more compassion, grace and forgiveness to others more than merely receiving them.
