Unfortunately, a lot of life is about convenience. If it works into our schedule and doesn't cause too much discomfort, we may do it. My day is ruined when the microwave doesn't warm up my instant burrito instantaneously enough and my high speed internet is not high speed enough. This attitude leads us to believe that most if not everything should be easier. Love is not easy. It takes work. Also, avoiding evil also takes work. Being aware of evil and hating it is different.
Lord, please help me to see that my life must be lived intentionally and not conveniently.
