We are conditioned to feel that equality is the right attitude to have. If someone treats us well, we should treat them well. If someone treats us poorly, we are justified to treat them poorly. Thankfully, God didn't have that attitude toward us. And God calls us to not have that attitude toward others.
Lord, help me to show love to not only those who are lovable, just as you love me, when I am not lovable.
