We are born helpless. Babies can't do anything productive. As we grow up, we become more independent. Unfortunately, we think that independence is the goal. Actually, dependence on God is the goal. Our effort should not be focused on becoming more independent but instead on becoming more dependent.
Lord, give me the strength to approach You and the wisdom and humility to receive what You have for me so that I may find what You want for me.
